Handmade Gold and Pink Dichroic Art Glass Pendant and Necklace

This is a one of a kind pendant which I have made from fused art glass. I heat the pieces up in a kiln to around 800 degrees Centigrade so all the pieces become one. 

I love the way this pendant sparkles in the light and I think dichroic glass is a little like opals in that the colours change depending on the angle of the light that hits it. 

The glass is around 3cm square. This piece is made from 3 layers of art glass and has rounded off in the kiln to be incredibly smooth, and domed like a cabouchon. The bail is made from high quality black painted steel. 

This gold and pale pink pendant on a black glass background goes really well with any clothing and suits many skin tones.  

It is supplied with a black wire necklace.
