Handmade Black Glass Heart

Made from hundreds of tiny pieces of vintage black glass in my home studio. 

This is the only one of my heart sculptures that is opaque. Because the pieces are smooth glass, it still glints in the light. Perfect for the person who loves black. 

Great as a Valentines Day, wedding, or gift for a loved one. Each is individually handmade and then fired at around 820 degrees c. 

I then display it on a slice of found wood. Overall this piece is around 10cm tall.
